Adson Artery Forceps Adson Artery Forceps can be used as a hemostat for general surgeries to regulate bleeding of broken arteries in the course of an operation. These forceps are developed with ring-handles and a locking ratchet to ensure a firm grasp on the artery. Adson Bipolar Forceps 1.0 mm tip, smooth jaw, 4-3/4" (12.0 cm) Adson Bipolar Forceps are designed to minimize heat and current while coagulating. For use during bipolar electrosurgical procedures, these forceps are designed with a 1.0 mm tip and a smooth jaw. Available in both insulated and insulated with irrigation. Just as with their standard counterparts, these forceps are the most common bipolar forcep model. Bipolar forceps are designed to control temperatures, minimize heat and current spread and reduce tissue sticking or charring while coagulating during bipolar electrosurgical procedures. The standard pattern is available with 2x3 teeth and is ideal for handling the various thicknesses of tissues. The serrated handle offers a comfortable and secure grip for the surgeon. They are comprised of premium, German stainless steel and come with a dull, satin finish to reduce glare. Jaws w/ atraumatic parallel serrations Allis Tissue Forceps contain jaws with atraumatic parallel serrations. These types of serrations are designed to eliminate damage caused to the tissue when trying to grasp or hold it during surgery. The adjustable ratchet ring-handle provides the forceps to be held in a locked position. This instrument is also presented with narrow or standard jaws with an option of 6" or 8" length.
