Smith-Petersen Gouge
8″ (20.0 cm) Smith Peterson Gouge is crafted for use in surgical procedures that require manipulation of bone such as scooping or creating a hole. This instrument can be used to increase access to the central soft tissue portion of the bone or in prepping bones from grafting. Uniquely this gouge features a rounded handle that increases gripping and allowing for firm handling and maneuverability.
