Hibbs Osteotome
9-1/2" (24.0 cm)Â Hibbs Osteotome is made for use in neurosurgical procedures that require scraping or chiseling through bone. This osteotome features a thick handle for ease in gripping and maneuverability. The handle narrows into a slim neck which widens out again into a chisel type blade. Additionally the blade features a slight curvature increasing its ability to be used to strip or scrape away layers of bone and tissue. This instrument is available in ten sizes ranging from 6.0 mm to 38.0 mm and in either a curved or straight profile allowing it to be useful in a variety of patient scenarios and surgeon preferences.
Hoke Osteotome

This instrument features a sturdy handle for ease in handling which then narrows at the neck and widens again into a blade. One potential use of this osteotome is to saw through the skull to increase access during surgery such as craniotomy. Additionally this instrument can be used to reshape bony areas. This osteotome is available in either a curved or straight profile in size sizes ranging from 3.0 mm to 16.0 mm making this a highly versatile instrument suitable for a number of surgical procedures.
Lambotte Osteotome – W/ Calibration Lines

This instrument is designed to be used manually to cut through bone. It offers many advantages over drills or mechanical tools such as increased sensitivity to adjust the level of force. Additionally this osteotome has the added benefit of featuring calibration lines. This osteotome is available in twelve widths in a straight profile as well as two widths in a curve profile. A full set of ten featuring straight and curved profiles is also available.
Lambotte Osteotome – W/Out Calibration Lines
