Doane “Z” Retractor
double-ended, 15.2 cm long, 1.1 cm wide Doane “Z” Retractor is also known as a Knee Retractor. This retractor is used in knee surgeries and serves a number of different purposes. It can be used to retract all soft tissue surrounding the site of surgery so that only the bony portions are exposed. This retractor features two major turns giving it the characteristic Z shape that allows the handle to remain out of the field of surgery and easily accessible for manipulation. Additionally this instrument is available in two different sizes making it possible to accommodate a variety of surgical approaches and surgeon preferences.
