Rib Retractors

Bailey-Gibbon Rib Approximator w/ extended three-pronged blades, 6-3/4" (17.0 cm) Baily-Gibbon Rib Approximator is an instrument used in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This rib approximator comes equipped with extended three-pronged blades which gives it better gripping ability during rib approximation. A ratcheting mechanism with a large dial are used to set the claws at variable spreads and then bring them closer together.

Sternal Retractors - Aluminum aluminum arms & blades, ratchet bar stainless steel Cooley Sternal Retractors are ideally used during cardiothoracic procedures to help create and maintain a sufficient opening in the sternum to allow comfortable access to the surgical field. This instrument comes equipped with aluminum arms and blades as well as a stainless steel ratchet bar. This sternal retractor comes in a variety of different sizes to accommodate neonatal, newborn, infant and pediatric cases.

Its lightweight stainless steel construction and fenestrated blades allow it to be strongly built but uniquely crafted to distribute force so as not to cause undue stress on the patient. This instrument is available in two different arm lengths so as to accommodate a variety of patients.

Atrial Valve Retractor Cooley Atrial Valve Retractor is a uniquely designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This instrument is used particularly for atrial valve retraction and is perfectly suited to do so because of its bulb shaped handle for firm handling and angled head piece to allow manipulation while leaving the surgical field accessible. This instrument is available in three sizes: small, medium and large all of which are for a right sided approach. A left sided approach instrument is also available to accommodate a variety of surgical uses.
