Diethrich Circumflec scissors are crafted for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures that require incisions to the cirucumflex artery. The curved contour of this instrument fits the profile of the artery as it branches off the left coronary artery and curved around the heart and lying in the coronary sulcus. The short, sharp blades are mounted at an angle allowing the handle and grip of this instrument to remain out of the surgical field and increasing visibility. Additionally, this instrument has a stabilizer bar that keeps the shanks in place and prevents twisting or slipping while in use.
